Wison Engineering Awarded an EPC contract for Supporting the Re-expansion of World’s Largest Caprolactam Production Base

Wison Engineering (Stock code: 2236.HK), a global leading engineering, procurement and construction management service provider, is awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management contract for 75,000Nm3/h coal-to-hydrogen plant and 300 KTA ammonia plant (“the Project”). 

As a key element in the second phase of 400 KTA polyamide integration project, the Project will achieve the re-expansion on capacity of the world’s largest caprolactam production base, making it safe, reliable, energy-saving and environmentally friendly. As a new benchmark for the industry, the Project marks a breakthrough for Wison Engineering in new material applications.

Wison Engineering has extensive experience in project engineering and management in the coal-to-chemical field, such as coal-to-syngas, coal-to-methanol, coal-to-olefin and coal-to-natural gas. The 280 KTA ammonia synthesis project designed for Xinjiang province in China was awarded the National Chemical Quality Engineering Award in 2016 in China, the third prize of Excellent Design for Construction Project in 2017, and the first prize of Provincial Excellent Survey and Design Innovation in 2018. Leveraging its leading engineering capability and extensive project management experience, Wison stood out in this competition and was recognized by the owners.
