Wison (Nanjing) Chemical Co., Ltd. has signed a gasification license agreement with GE Energy on 25 Feb. 2009. General manager Zhu Changcheng of Wison Nanjing and Monte Atwell, general manager of technology of GE Energy's gasification business were present at the signing ceremony. The agreement grants Wison Nanjing usage of GE's gasification technology for its Syngas Project Phase II.
Wison Nanjing aims to expand its output of CO, H2 and syngas by constructing the Syngas Project Phase II. The Phase II plant uses the coal slurry gasification technology of GE Energy and fully utilizes the surplus production capacity of Phase I. With the expanded capacity Wison can further meet the growing need for syngas of other enterprises within the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park.
