The second line of the 600,000 tons/year full density polyethylene (FDPE) plant of CNPC Dushanzi Petrochemical Company, built by Wison Engineering Limited as PC contractor, saw its start-up at 11: 58, August 12. The system stably operated and yielded qualified granular materials (the product is DNDA-8320), which marked the successful start-up of the plant's second line. Meanwhile, except for the reaction unit, degassing unit and recovery unit of the first line, all other process units of the plant were lined up.
The 600,000 tons/year FDPE project of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company is one of the three major projects contracted by Wison for Dushanzi PC's revamp/expansion project. With supports from governmental and company leaders and the efforts of all project participants, the plant was handed over at high standards on 15 June 2009, which was highly appraised by the owner. The successful start-up of the FDPE plant marks a new milestone of Wison's engineering service to the Dushanzi Petrochemical Company.
