Chief Scientist of Wison Engineering Awarded Engineering Survey and Design Master of Petroleum & Chemical Industry

(Shanghai, 10/28/2013) Wison Engineering Services Co., Ltd. (“Wison” or the “Company”, SEHK stock code: 2236, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) today announced that, Li Yansheng, the Chief Scientist and Technical Director of its indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary, Wison Engineering .Ltd. was granted the honor of Engineering Master by China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Federation and China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association.

The appraisal is aiming to award those professionals who have made great contributions to the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical survey and design Industry. With nearly 30-year working experience in engineering and design , Li Yansheng has been leading a number of petrochemical and coal chemical projects since he joined Wison in 2004. His extensive knowledge and unique insight of the coal chemical industry and down-stream products played a key role in the development of Wison Engineering’s proprietary MTO olefin separation technology, which was successfully commercialized in Nanjing a few days ago.

This Award also manifests the influential role of Wison Engineering in chemical engineering industry. By setting technological innovation and R&D as one of its development strategies, Wison Engineering becomes one of the six companies that possess the proprietary commercial technology of ethylene cracking furnace in the world and is among the few engineering companies in China to own a large number of proprietary coal-to-chemicals technologies. Among the various proprietary technologies it has developed in the coal-to-chemicals area are MTO light olefins separation technology, coal-to-gas technology, coal-to-ethylene glycol technology as well as new hybrid gasification technology.
