Wison Coal Chemical Phase II Syngas Project Saw Success in First Feeding and Start-up

Through nearly two years' construction, the Wison (Nanjing) Chemical Co., Ltd. Phase II Syngas Project located in Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park has entered the new start-up stage. At 11:00 a.m. September 7, 2009, the technical feeding of the new coal chemical device formally started. Through nearly 20 hours' running, the qualified carbon monoxide products were smoothly turned out at 7:00 a.m. September 8, 2009, with the purity of 99.1%, which indicated that the Wison Phase II Syngas Project First Feeding and Start-up achieved full success.

Formally launched in August 2007, the Project is in general contracting by Wison Engineering (China) Co., Ltd. and has realized the intermediate handover this April; moreover, it has carried out single-machine trial run and sweeping, gas tight, and recycling, etc. in time, and raced against the clock to complete the testing and debugging tasks, enabling the feeding and trial run to be carried out in advance. 
 

The same as Phase I project, the Wison Coal Chemical Phase II Syngas Project also adopted the international prevailing GE Clean Coal Gasification technology and Linde Low-Temperature Methanol Wash Purification technology, which are perfectly friendly to the environment. The smooth operation of the Phase II Syngas Project will add the capacity of 300,000 ton/year carbon monoxide, 21000Nm3/h hydrogen gas, and 11000Nm3/h syngas to the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park, and thereby relieving the increasingly growing demands of enterprises in the park towards chemical feed gas, enhancing the overall strength of Wison in the chemical field, laying solid foundation for the development of Wison coal chemical technologies.
